79 years ago, after the great victory of the August Revolution, on September 2, 1945, at the historic Ba Dinh Square, on behalf of the Provisional Revolutionary Government, President Ho Chi Minh solemnly read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, the first workers' and peasants' state in Southeast Asia, a state of the people, by the people and for the people; opening a new page of history, the most brilliant milestone in the thousands of years of building and defending the country of the Vietnamese people.

Over the past 79 years, under the leadership of the Party and beloved President Ho Chi Minh, our entire Party, people and army have achieved glorious feats in the struggle for national liberation, culminating in the Dien Bien Phu victory in 1954 and the great victory in the spring of 1975, liberating the South and reunifying the country.
In building and defending the Fatherland, especially after nearly 40 years of implementing the renovation process initiated and led by our Party, our country has achieved great achievements, the spiritual and material life of the people has been increasingly improved, national defense and security have been maintained, and Vietnam's prestige and position in the international arena have been increasingly enhanced.
Together with the entire Party, the entire people and the entire army of the whole country, the Party Committee, the government and the people of Ninh Thuan have united, overcome hardships and sacrifices, and contributed greatly to the overall victory of the whole nation in the two resistance wars against the French and the Americans to save the country. After 49 years of the liberation of the homeland and 32 years of the re-establishment of the province, promoting the tradition of the heroic and loyal land, Ninh Thuan has promoted patriotic emulation movements, creatively applied and implemented the Party's guidelines, policies and laws of the State in the specific conditions of the province and achieved important achievements in the fields of socio-economy, national defense, security..., the lives of people in the province have been significantly improved.

In the first 3 years of implementing the Resolution of the 14th Provincial Party Congress, term 2020-2025, the average GRDP growth rate in the period 2021-2023 reached 9.28%/year, higher than the average growth rate of the whole country and the South Central Coast region. In particular, the GRDP growth rate in 2023 increased by 9.40%, ranking 9th out of 63 provinces and cities nationwide and ranking 2nd out of 14 provinces in the North Central and Central Coast regions. In addition, the planning of Ninh Thuan province for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050 approved by the Prime Minister, has opened up a new development space and a new vision with the goal that by 2030, Ninh Thuan will become a province with an average income in the upper middle group of the country and strive by 2050, Ninh Thuan will become a province with comprehensive, fast and sustainable development, a diverse and prosperous economy, and the material and spiritual life of the people will reach a high level compared to other localities in the country...
