Opening of the Exhibition "Proud of 80 years of glorious tradition of the heroic Vietnam People's Army"

On the evening of December 17, at the Provincial Exhibition - Fair - Advertising Center, Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station coordinated with the Military Command to organize the opening of the Exhibition "Proud of 80 years of glorious tradition of the heroic Vietnam People's Army". This is one of the activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).

Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station Ha Dinh Hau delivered the opening speech of the exhibition.

Speaking at the opening of the exhibition, Deputy Director of Thanh Hoa Radio and Television Station Ha Dinh Hau emphasized: This exhibition hopes to bring visitors more valuable information and documents about the process of birth, construction, fighting and growth of the Vietnam People's Army (VPA); historical moments, golden milestones, glorious journey of the VPA and the "Uncle Ho's soldiers" over the past 80 years. Thereby, arousing pride, expressing deep gratitude to generations of fathers who have devoted and sacrificed for the great revolutionary cause of the nation, contributing to educating the tradition of patriotism and revolution for cadres, party members and all classes of people, especially the young generation. At the same time, arousing the desire to contribute, turning determination into action, contributing to building the homeland and country to become increasingly prosperous, civilized and happy.

The exhibition consists of three main parts: "President Ho Chi Minh with the Vietnam People's Army"; "The glorious tradition of the Vietnam People's Army" and "Thanh Hoa Armed Forces promote the tradition of the twice heroic unit, determined to firmly protect the Socialist Republic of Vietnam". With more than 200 artifacts and hundreds of photographic works, books and newspapers, the exhibition "Proud of 80 years of glorious tradition of the heroic Vietnam People's Army" has contributed to arousing patriotism, national pride, self-esteem, the spirit of determination to fight and win of the Vietnam People's Army, the responsibility of all people for the task of building a strong army, consolidating national defense, protecting the Fatherland in the spirit of the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress.
