In particular, Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Xuan - Principal of VAS System said that the digital transformation program - bringing AI into teaching for students is the focus of VAS in the next 5 years and throughout the following years.
Starting from the next school year, VAS will integrate an AI lesson into the "Learning the Digital World and Digital Transformation" program to teach students, depending on their age from grade 1 to grade 12. "This is not simply about introducing an educational program on AI, but a digital transformation process across the entire VAS system, including many areas, from investing in infrastructure, equipment, security systems... to the most important factor, which is the team and educational program on AI", Ms. Xuan shared.
In addition, VAS also focuses on developing and improving core programs including: Wellbeing, Global Citizenship, Design Thinking, Career Counseling and University Preparation. According to Ms. Xuan, what makes VAS always maintain its pioneering and leading position in the bilingual international school system is its constant improvement.

In addition to the educational topic, Dr. Vu Phi Yen, a doctor and psychologist, also helps parents understand the influence of AI - "collective human intelligence" and how to make life easier with practical AI applications such as: financial management, home, increasing personal and work efficiency, supporting learning, creating creative entertainment activities and improving mental health, increasing family connections...
The speaker also advised parents on four important principles when using AI in the family: data security; learning to gain knowledge and using AI to support; critical thinking, soberly considering the support you receive; remembering your purpose so as not to get lost in the means.
For children, the speaker also noted that parents need to teach their children "online" skills before letting them come into contact with AI depending on their age. Important things to build for children are: children feel okay with themselves; children feel okay with the world; children love learning and are eager for changes in the world; nurturing essential thinking such as scientific thinking, critical thinking, creativity, etc.
