After 5 days of urgent, serious, responsible and effective work by the assessment experts and all staff, lecturers and students, on the afternoon of April 15, Cuu Long University (CUU) in collaboration with Saigon Quality Assessment Center (CEA-SAIGON) organized the closing ceremony of the official survey serving the external assessment of educational institutions (cycle 2) at the school.

During the survey, the Evaluation Team conducted an assessment of the following activities: studying supporting documents and related documents; inspecting and surveying facilities (library, documentation room; practice room; laboratory; medical station; offices of units, classrooms, dormitories, playgrounds, etc.). Interviewing subjects such as: school leaders, leaders of affiliated units, professional managers, lecturers, union officials, former students, support staff, employers, and students.
At the closing session, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Minh Cu - Party Secretary, Principal of the University of Economics - expressed his sincere thanks to CEA-SAIGON and the EIA expert team for helping the school conduct an assessment of the quality of educational institutions.

The University of Languages and International Studies was recognized as meeting the first cycle of university education quality accreditation standards in 2018. To date, the school has had 10 training programs recognized as meeting the education quality accreditation standards.
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Minh Cu affirmed that the report of the evaluation team helped the school see its strengths, the points that need to be promoted, and especially, clearly see the existing weaknesses that need to be overcome so that the University of Natural Sciences can continue to develop quickly, strongly and sustainably.

In the coming time, the school will direct its affiliated units to develop action plans, gradually improve the backlog, limitations, shortcomings, ... according to the comments of the Evaluation Team. Develop long-term, medium-term, and short-term strategies to develop the school, continue to improve training management, foster teaching staff, encourage scientific research activities, technology application and transfer, increase the purchase of additional equipment for the period from now to 2025 and beyond to 2030, 2035 and the following years...
