Explaining the reason why some high schools in the city have low entrance scores for grade 10 (average subject score of 2.5 - 3.5 points), Mr. Tran Tien Chinh, Chief of Office of Hai Phong Department of Education and Training, said that the schools with low entrance scores are all located in island areas, in rural areas far from the city center, and still face many difficulties in all aspects, so the academic performance of many students is affected.

"Those with good academic performance choose schools with stronger brands to take the exam, the rest have been classified based on academic performance so their exam scores will not be high," Mr. Chinh added.
