"Perspective" is an art exhibition by artist Dang Kim Long that will take place from May 6 to May 26, 2023 at Peony & Iris Art Gallery (25/74 Nguyen Binh Khiem, Ben Nghe, District 1, HCMC).
“Perspective” is like a new horizon that transcends space and time about the artistic values that the artist conveys through the never-before-published lacquer and watercolor paintings of painter Dang Kim Long.
Through his rich experience and perspective, the exhibition presents a "perspective" on many different topics in art as well as painting materials.
There, the public can see familiar Vietnamese scenes, but can also see classic scenes from abroad, or images of attractive Vietnamese women through multi-dimensional perspectives.
“Perspective” is also a personal feeling of each person and is waiting for art lovers to discover and enjoy.
Artist Dang Kim Long (born 1955) - is currently a Senior Member of the Royal Fine Arts Society of South Australia. Although not born into a family with an artistic tradition, his innate talent and passion for painting have led him to become a exemplary artist and teacher, bringing much influence to the creation of Vietnamese fine arts.
In search of creative quality and maximizing creativity, artist Kim Long has spent time traveling around the world, exploring many different cultures to find the essence of life, society, and people. Combining knowledge, aesthetic thinking and painting talent, artist Dang Kim Long's works, whether lacquer, oil or watercolor, always stand out for their comprehensive light capturing skills, mixed with a flexible combination of colors and architecture.
