(CLO) On November 30, the Ha Tinh Literature and Arts Association held the opening ceremony of the art photo exhibition "Heroic Army - Exemplary Veterans" by author Le Anh Thi.
The art photo exhibition with the theme "Heroic Army - Exemplary Veterans" by author Le Anh Thi includes 50 photos with various contents, celebrating the 80th anniversary of the founding of the People's Army, the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Veterans Association, and the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day.
Leaders of the Propaganda Department of Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee and departments, branches and authors cut the ribbon to open the exhibition.
Among the 50 works displayed at this exhibition, there are nearly 20 works about naval soldiers on duty to protect the sea and airspace of the Fatherland in Truong Sa archipelago, recorded by the author during a working trip to Truong Sa in 2018.
Photographer Dinh Thong - Head of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists in Ha Tinh presented the exhibition sponsorship decision of the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists to author Le Anh Thi.
Among them, many works have won awards and been exhibited at art photography festivals in the North Central region and photography competitions organized by the Vietnam Association of Photographic Artists.
In addition, the exhibition also displays some images of the land and people of Ha Tinh in the process of innovation and construction of the homeland and country.
Author Le Anh Thi expressed his feelings at the opening ceremony of the exhibition.
The exhibition brings together outstanding works, depicting portraits, images, and activities of the armed forces and veterans of Ha Tinh continuing to promote the qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers" and some images of the land and people of Ha Tinh in the renovation of the homeland and country.
Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and Ha Tinh Journalists Association presented flowers to congratulate journalist Le Anh Thi.
Journalist Nguyen Khac Hien presented the article "Journalist Le Anh Thi devoted himself to his comrades" published in NB&CL newspaper to journalist Le Anh Thi at the exhibition.
Right at the opening ceremony, the exhibition attracted hundreds of visitors. In particular, the exhibition presented many meaningful gifts to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, relatives of martyrs and veterans in difficult circumstances.
Chief Representative of BMT Office, NB&CL Newspaper and Business & Farm Magazine presented gifts to Heroic Mother of Vietnam, "Little Guerrilla Girl" Kim Lai and War Veterans in difficult circumstances.
The exhibition takes place from November 30 to December 1, 2024, at the headquarters of the Ha Tinh Literature and Arts Association, No. 34B, Nguyen Cong Tru Street, Ha Tinh City.

This is an activity towards the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (1944 - 2024), the 35th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Veterans Association (1989 - 2024); towards the 100th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (1925 - 2025).
Journalist and photographer Le Anh Thi (born in 1957, pen name Minh Thi), is from Thach Quy ward - Ha Tinh city. During the anti-American resistance war, he was a special forces soldier who participated in the fight to protect the Fatherland's border in the Southwest battlefield, and performed a noble international mission in Cambodia. He is currently a member of the Ha Tinh Literature and Arts Association, majoring in photography and working as a resident reporter for the Vietnam Veterans Newspaper in Ha Tinh.
