In recent times, all levels and sectors of Tan Hung district, Long An province have focused on comprehensively and synchronously implementing the digital transformation program in all fields, achieving many results, contributing to promoting the socio-economic development of the district.

In 2024, Tan Hung district paid attention to directing, deploying, and implementing digital transformation synchronously, achieving many results. The district deployed digital infrastructure development to serve digital transformation, develop digital government, digital economy, and digital society of the district. Smartphone subscribers/total subscribers reached nearly 86%; households with fiber optic broadband connections reached more than 90%.

In addition, the district has also accelerated the progress of collecting and activating electronic identification accounts for people. The adult population with electronic identification accounts reached nearly 86%. On that basis, agencies and units have effectively exploited the national database on population to serve the settlement of administrative procedures on the electronic "one-stop" system.

On the basis of digital government, digital economy, and digital society, many positive results have been achieved. The rate of electronic document exchange at the district level reached 100%; work records processed online for the district level reached over 90%, and for the commune level over 93.5%; the rate of electronic document exchange with digital signatures in the district reached nearly 100%; the rate of online payment records on the National Public Service Portal out of the total number of payment transactions of public services reached nearly 74%.

Introduce and promote OCOP products on the e-commerce platform nongsan.buudien.vn managed by the Provincial Post Office. Currently, 9 OCOP products are posted on the Post Office e-commerce platform and the District's Electronic Information Page, 1 OCOP product is posted on the Long An e-commerce platform.

Strengthening information and propaganda work, coordinating with telecommunications enterprises to focus on converting all 2G mobile subscribers to 4G in the district; coordinating the implementation of cashless payments; providing personal digital signatures; fixed-line broadband services for people in the district;...

According to Vice Chairman of Tan Hung District People's Committee - Phan Hoa Nong, in the coming time, the district's agencies, units, People's Committees of communes and towns will strengthen leadership and management in implementing digital transformation. Use and effectively exploit shared software, deployed systems to meet management and operation requirements such as document management and operation software, official email, digital signature, work records, digitized records, electronic information pages.

Implement support to bring agricultural production households to e-commerce platforms and ensure that 100% of local OCOP products are introduced and promoted on e-commerce platforms; increase the rate of online public services with online records; the rate of digitization of records, results of administrative procedure settlement, etc.
