On the occasion of the beginning of the New Year of At Ty 2025, commemorating the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025), on the afternoon of February 3, General Secretary To Lam visited and offered incense to commemorate Prime Minister Pham Van Dong at his private residence.

Prime Minister Pham Van Dong is one of the key leaders and predecessors of the Vietnamese revolution; he has made great contributions to the cause of national liberation, construction and defense of the Fatherland.
Prime Minister Pham Van Dong was born on March 1, 1906 in Quang Ngai province. Throughout his life of continuous revolutionary activities, Prime Minister Pham Van Dong made many great contributions to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation, and was an exemplary model of communist ethics in studying and implementing Ho Chi Minh's ideology and ethics.
His name and career are recorded in the glorious history of the Party and the nation, associated with important events of the country.
On the same afternoon, General Secretary To Lam visited and extended New Year greetings to Lieutenant General Dang Quan Thuy, Hero of the People's Armed Forces, former researcher of the Military Training Department, General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Vice Chairman of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.
On the occasion of the beginning of the New Year of the Snake, General Secretary To Lam sent his family best wishes for good health, peace and prosperity; expressed his hope that Lieutenant General Dang Quan Thuy would continue to promote his revolutionary moral qualities, actively encourage his children and grandchildren to strictly implement the Party's guidelines and policies and the State's laws; participate in Party building, local government building and fostering and educating the revolutionary tradition for the younger generation.
With more than 60 years of service in the Army, the National Assembly and the Vietnam Veterans Association, comrade Dang Quan Thuy has made many important contributions to the cause of national liberation, building and firmly defending the socialist Vietnamese Fatherland.
Regardless of the conditions and circumstances, he was always steadfast, steadfast, and absolutely loyal to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people; maintained and promoted the revolutionary ethics of a communist party member, an officer, and a general of the Army; always strived to excellently complete all assigned tasks, worthy of the trust of the Party, the State, the Army, and the people.
Comrade Dang Quan Thuy was born in 1928 in Nam Dinh province; was a National Assembly delegate of the 8th and 9th terms and was elected Vice Chairman of the National Assembly and Chairman of the National Defense and Security Committee.
During his time as a delegate of the 10th National Assembly, he was elected Vice Chairman and by the end of 2002, was elected Chairman of the Vietnam Veterans Association./.
