On the morning of June 1, the Training - Mobility Battalion, Provincial Border Guard held an oath-taking ceremony for 90 new soldiers enlisted in 2023. Lieutenant Colonel Pham Xuan Do, Deputy Commander - Chief of Staff of the Provincial Border Guard attended the ceremony.
In 2023, the Training - Mobility Battalion, Provincial Border Guard was assigned to receive and train 90 new soldiers from 7 localities in the province.
After 3 months of training, despite many difficulties, lack of facilities and the impact of harsh weather, hot and dry. But with the determination and efforts of the officers and soldiers of the entire Battalion, the unit has completed 100% of the content according to the training program for new soldiers of the General Staff. The test results of the good and excellent rate reached over 70%, achieving the title of a good training unit.
At the ceremony, on behalf of 90 new soldiers, new soldier Nguyen Thanh Binh recited 10 honorary oaths of soldiers, along with the unanimous shout of "I swear" from the unit's officers and soldiers; performed the oath-taking ceremony before the military flag, handed over weapons and shouted slogans to show the soldiers' determination in carrying out the task of protecting the Fatherland.
On behalf of the Party Committee and the Provincial Border Guard Command, Lieutenant Colonel Pham Xuan Do, Deputy Commander - Chief of Staff of the Provincial Border Guard, praised the spirit of efforts to overcome difficulties and the results that the collective of officers and soldiers have achieved in the training of new soldiers. At the same time, he requested the Party Committee and commanders of the unit, especially the 90 new soldiers, to uphold the sense of responsibility, continue to make efforts in studying and training to implement and complete the contents of the 1.5-month training program on legal expertise and border work before being assigned to the basic units in the Provincial Border Guard.
