Specifically, the Deputy Prime Minister assigned the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to preside over and coordinate with ministries, agencies, and localities, and direct Vietnamese representative agencies abroad to organize activities to celebrate the Vietnamese Language Honor Day in 2025; urge, guide, inspect the implementation and report according to the Project "Vietnamese Language Honor Day in the Vietnamese Community Abroad for the period 2023-2030" issued together with Decision No. 930/QD-TTg dated August 3, 2022 of the Prime Minister. Ministries: Public Security, Finance, Education and Training, Information and Communications, Culture, Sports and Tourism; People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities; Vietnam Television, Voice of Vietnam, Vietnam News Agency, Hanoi National University, according to their functions and tasks, shall coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to implement activities to celebrate the Vietnamese Language Honor Day in 2025, and send a report on the implementation results to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before December 1, 2025 for synthesis and reporting to the Prime Minister. * In Decision No. 930/QD-TTg dated August 3, 2022, the Prime Minister approved the Project "Vietnamese Language Honor Day in the Vietnamese Community Abroad for the period 2023 - 2030" (Project). According to the Project, the Vietnamese Language Honor Day on September 8 will be held annually to raise awareness of the Vietnamese community abroad for the Vietnamese language, honoring the beauty and value of the Vietnamese language in the community. In addition, encourage, motivate and honor individuals, organizations and associations that have made positive contributions to preserving and spreading the Vietnamese language in the Vietnamese community abroad; maintain the use of Vietnamese in Vietnamese families abroad in daily family communication; spread Vietnamese to foreigners. Create motivation to improve the effectiveness and quality of teaching and learning Vietnamese in the community; promote local authorities and educational institutions to include Vietnamese in teaching at educational institutions in areas with a large Vietnamese population; support universities and research institutes with faculties or departments teaching and researching Vietnamese to further develop research, teaching and spreading Vietnamese.
