Developing Hoa Lac High-Tech Park into a center for high-tech research and application
The Hanoi People's Committee issued Decision No. 1243/QD-UBND dated March 4 approving the Outline of the Project for the Development of Hoa Lac High-Tech Park to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
The purpose is to build a scientific basis to serve the advisory work for the Hanoi Party Committee in determining the guidelines, policies and development orientations of Hoa Lac High-Tech Park in the next phase, ensuring sustainable and effective development in accordance with the socio-economic development requirements of the capital and the country.
Based on the assessment of the potential, current status and development trends of the high-tech park, the Project will propose specific directions and solutions to develop Hoa Lac High-Tech Park into a center for high-tech research and application, a city of science and technology.
The City People's Committee requires that the Project must be built on the basis of solid scientific research, ensuring feasibility; the solutions must be synchronous and consistent with the socio-economic development strategy of the Capital and the country.
In addition, it is necessary to clearly define short-term, medium-term and long-term development goals, ensuring synchronous development of technical infrastructure, social factors, human resources, and scientific and technological research. At the same time, it is necessary to protect the environment and develop sustainably; It is necessary to build a close coordination mechanism between levels, sectors and relevant functional agencies, ensuring synchronous and unified leadership and direction in implementing the Project.
Deploying the organization of the Project to develop Hoa Lac High-Tech Park
Previously, on March 3, the City People's Committee issued Plan No. 63/KH-UBND on implementing the organization of the Project to develop Hoa Lac High-Tech Park to 2030, with a vision to 2045.
The purpose is to specify the contents, tasks and implementation roadmap; assign responsibilities to the city's departments, branches and sectors to organize the development of the Hoa Lac High-Tech Park Project to 2030, with a vision to 2045; ensure requirements on quality and progress according to the conclusions of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee and the Steering Committee.
The City People's Committee requires the implementation of the project to develop Hoa Lac High-Tech Park until 2030, with a vision to 2045, to have the participation and close coordination between departments, branches, agencies, and units of the City, as well as units of related ministries and branches.
Along with that, to ensure progress as required by the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, the City People's Committee requested the Management Board of High-Tech Parks and Industrial Parks of Hanoi to proactively coordinate with relevant units to urgently deploy and organize the preparation of the Project according to regulations.
The project includes 4 contents: General issues about the High-Tech Park; The situation of construction and development of Hoa Lac High-Tech Park since its establishment; Viewpoints and orientations for the development of Hoa Lac High-Tech Park until 2030, with a vision to 2045 in accordance with the position and role stipulated in the Capital Law 2024; Solutions for the development of Hoa Lac High-Tech Park until 2030, with a vision to 2045 in accordance with the position and role stipulated in the Capital Law 2024.
