In order to raise awareness in the work of safety autonomy, in recent times, Da Bac Logistics Company has maintained and diversified the forms of training and education on occupational safety and health (OSH) for managers and employees. In particular, focusing on training skills to self-identify unsafe risks based on the principle of prevention as number 1; creating all conditions for employees to access and master science and technology in production, self-improving working conditions... The company has provided labor insurance for employees in accordance with the State's regulations for each industry; machines for labor protection are fully purchased, creating favorable conditions for inspection and control of dangerous and toxic factors; implementing well the toxic compensation regime, organizing periodic medical examinations... Mr. Vo Khac Nghiem, Director of Da Bac Logistics Company, said: The unit has invested in many new technologies and modern safety equipment in production such as anti-drowsy driving system, train route monitoring system, GPS system on means of transport, camera system at coal warehouses and production sites. At the same time, strengthen propaganda so that workers understand and perform well the work of self-control and safety with 5 principles of protecting themselves and their teammates; if you don't understand - ask; if you don't know - don't do; comply with safety procedures and rules.
In 2024, TKV will implement the plan and tasks in difficult conditions due to having to go deeper and further, the mine geology has changed compared to the original design; the work is particularly hard and toxic, with potential risks of causing unsafety due to increasing pressure on the mine, mine gas, and groundwater; extreme weather changes, especially storm No. 3 seriously affecting production...
In that context, the Group and its member units have invested nearly VND 1,400 billion in occupational safety and health, equal to 101.7% of the plan; 91,583 workers have had their health checked and met the requirements according to regulations, reaching 98.1%. At the same time, we have continuously focused on investing in new technology for production, investing in advanced and modern equipment to improve safety in production; strengthening thematic and surprise inspections of occupational safety and health at units...
Implementing measures to ensure occupational safety and health in 2025, TKV sets the goal of striving to reduce serious occupational accidents in both the number of cases and the number of victims compared to 2024; overcome existing limitations in occupational safety and health work, strictly implement resolutions of the TKV Party Committee, TKV's directive documents on occupational safety and health work; further improve the leadership effectiveness of Party committees, the effectiveness of the political system, and the sense of responsibility of leaders; continue to promote propaganda, safety training, and safety autonomy...
