Sharing with Dan Tri reporter about the opportunity to choose Software Engineering here instead of another school with technical strengths, Phong said that since studying for the exam, he had planned to take the exam at Thuy Loi University because the tuition fee was cheap, suitable for his family and the school also focused on development.
In particular, I chose the Software Engineering major at Thuyloi University because I love technology and programming. The Software Engineering major gives me a concrete idea of what I will learn about creating software products, websites, etc.
Force yourself not to let go
Phi Phong grew up in the studious land of Dien Chau - Nghe An. Phong's family has 5 siblings, his parents are farmers, he himself is always proactive and tries hard in studying.
During his studies, he also had difficulty in grasping difficult knowledge, but the male student proactively asked teachers and discussed with friends.
Thanks to the teachers' explanations and the help of friends, the Nghe An male student overcame and studied more effectively.

Sharing about his study method, Phong said that he always has goals and plans for each semester, each subject and especially is always persistent and diligent throughout the study process.
"For each subject, I always listen to detailed lectures to grasp the knowledge well and ask the teacher about the parts I don't understand. When I get home, I will immediately review the knowledge of that day to really understand and remember the knowledge I just learned," Phong said.
The male student also affirmed that reviewing and preparing before class is very important, especially needing to master the old lesson before learning the new one.
However, studying hard to achieve the set goals while participating in many extracurricular activities often puts a lot of pressure on male students.
"The most stressful part is probably the final exam period, especially because of the goal of having to get a high score, which puts a lot of pressure on me. Sometimes I want to give up everything just to pass the exam.
At times like these, I tell myself to maintain healthy living habits, study but get enough sleep to ensure good health.
In particular, male students save maximum time for studying and participating in extracurricular activities, use social networks less, and "force" themselves not to let go, which helps them overcome the pressure of studying," Phong said.
Phong is currently working in a technology company. After graduation, he plans to continue using his knowledge and experience to apply more in practice.
The male student said he will continue to self-study, expand and deepen his knowledge so as not to fall behind his juniors.
Phong was especially appreciated by the faculty leader for his graduation thesis (Photo: NVCC).
Commenting on his excellent student, Associate Professor Dr. Le Van Hung, Head of the Faculty of Information Technology, Thuy Loi University, said that Phong was especially outstanding through his graduation thesis "Application of generative AI to build Chatbot for the Faculty of Information Technology, Thuy Loi University".
This is a highly specialized topic, applying advanced artificial intelligence technologies such as language generation models and RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) techniques. The topic clearly demonstrates Phong's innovative thinking, independent research ability as well as solid technological foundation.
The chatbot product developed by Phong has clear potential for practical application, and can be integrated into the Faculty and School website system to support admissions consulting, provide information and automatically answer common questions from students.
Notably, Phong completed his thesis and graduated one semester ahead of his classmates - a convincing testament to his ability, serious learning spirit and tireless efforts.
