On the afternoon of April 11, at the Provincial Police Department, the survey delegation of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Society, led by Ms. Do Thi Lan, Vice Chairwoman of the Committee on Culture and Society, continued to have a working session on the implementation of policies and laws on drug prevention and control in the 2023-2024 period in the province. Attending the survey was Mr. Nguyen Van Manh, member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation.

Implementing the Law on Drug Prevention and Control, Vinh Phuc province has issued many directive documents, established provincial and district-level Steering Committees on AIDS, drug and prostitution prevention and control; promoted propaganda and dissemination of legal education on drug prevention and control. At the same time, directed the provincial police to launch high-point campaigns to attack and suppress crimes, including drug-related crimes; focused on eliminating points, hotspots, networks, gangs, areas, areas, subjects illegally buying, selling and transporting drugs, especially subjects from other provinces operating in the area. Along with the fight against and eradication of drug crimes, drug addiction treatment and post-treatment management in the province have been effectively coordinated by agencies and units.

Appreciating the results achieved by Vinh Phuc province in drug prevention and control, especially after transferring the tasks of the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs to the Provincial Police, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly's Committee on Culture and Social Affairs Do Thi Lan requested Vinh Phuc Provincial Police to continue to supplement and complete the report's content to clarify the difficulties and obstacles in identifying and managing drug addicts, especially the shortcomings in mechanisms and policies in drug prevention and control. With the province's recommendations, the Survey Team will receive and synthesize them as a basis for reporting to the National Assembly and proposing to the Government.
Next, the survey team went to survey the actual management and rehabilitation work at the provincial drug rehabilitation facility.
