On the first day, an urgent request from Myanmar was for assistance in searching for four victims trapped in a ruined apartment building. "We determined that the victims were buried very deep, under many layers of soil, rocks, and concrete. The search and recovery of the bodies was expected to be very difficult and dangerous, but everyone agreed to make the most of the golden time and complete the task as soon as possible," Major General Ty recounted.

The earthquake scene in Myanmar is completely different from the earthquake in Turkey. In Turkey, buildings often collapse completely without causing any danger to rescue workers, while in Myanmar, buildings often only collapse on the first floor, the structure of the building is damaged .
The house is very susceptible to secondary collapse, just a small vibration can cause it to collapse completely.

Vietnamese rescuers used hydraulic pliers to break concrete and a system of load-bearing bars to ensure that the structures of the buildings would not vibrate .
