In the past time, the Public Security of local units has closely followed the assigned tasks according to the 2024 operational plan of the Steering Committee for Digital Transformation of the Ministry of Public Security, especially the key tasks in implementing Project 06 and online public services; basically completing the legal corridor, focusing on restructuring the processes of handling administrative procedures, reducing procedures and paperwork to serve the provision of online public services. The information technology infrastructure of the Ministry of Public Security has been gradually completed in accordance with regulations.
Tuyen Quang Provincial Police have actively promoted digital transformation, notably performing well the permanent role in organizing the implementation of Project 06; coordinating with relevant departments, branches, People's Committees of districts and cities to organize the collection of applications for chip-embedded citizen identification cards and identification cards, associated with the collection of electronic identification account applications; deploying digital signature application solutions, specialized information security solutions... to promote digital transformation in the province.
From July 1 to September 15 alone, the provincial police force has disseminated, guided, and received nearly 130,000 applications for ID cards; successfully activated over 535,000 electronic identification accounts; cleaned up population data to ensure it is “correct, complete, clean, and alive”….
Concluding the conference, Minister of Public Security Luong Tam Quang requested that units under the Ministry and local police must make greater efforts and determination, promote the role of unit leaders; be exemplary and take the lead in implementing digital transformation tasks.
At the same time, focus on reviewing and evaluating the overall work content, assessing difficulties and obstacles to focus on resolving them, determined to speed up the progress of completing the shared database, and building the National Data Center.
The entire force proactively performed well the task of ensuring information security and safety and focused resources to successfully implement and complete the tasks of digital transformation and Project 06 in the People's Public Security force.
