Kinhtedothi - On the morning of March 8, at Hoan Kiem Lake and Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square, Le Thai To Ward, Hoan Kiem District (Hanoi), a series of unique cultural activities took place to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security tradition.
Information from the Ministry of Public Security said that on the occasion of the 77th anniversary of the People's Public Security studying and implementing Uncle Ho's Six Teachings (March 11, 1948 - March 11, 2025), towards the 80th anniversary of the People's Public Security Traditional Day (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the 20th anniversary of the National Day for National Security Protection (August 19, 2005 - August 19, 2025), the Ministry of Public Security organized the Music Gala Program "Glory of the People's Public Security of Vietnam".
On the sidelines of the Gala, there are a series of exciting activities such as exhibitions, performances of brass instruments, cavalry, martial arts, qigong, motorbike escorts, etc., along with experiential activities. This is not only an opportunity for people to better understand the glorious tradition of the People's Public Security Force, but also contributes to arousing patriotism and awareness of protecting national security in the community.
During the two days of the event (March 8 and 9), the people of the capital will have the opportunity to immerse themselves in a series of 8 unique and impressive activities bearing the mark of the People's Public Security force. First is the grand opening program with drum performances and heroic martial arts at Ly Thai To Square.
Visit the exhibition area of equipment and weapons of the People's Public Security force along Hang Khay, Trang Tien streets and part of Hang Bai street (in the walking street) with many modern and advanced equipment such as armored vehicles, robots, fire trucks...
One of the highlights that many people are looking forward to at the event is the Digital Technology Museum Exhibition, applying the modern Immersive Museum model, bringing a multi-dimensional, vivid experience. Along with that are interactive experience areas combining propaganda and education on traffic safety, fire prevention and rescue, high-tech crime prevention... and activities: digital citizen experience, criminal police, fire prevention and rescue police, traffic police..., helping people raise awareness in crime prevention and control and activities serving to ensure social security and safety.

Also within the framework of the event, people and tourists will be able to witness the spectacular performances of leading motorbikes, trumpet music, cavalry, martial arts and qigong or the dramatic and breathtaking performance of criminal arrests; professional training of police dogs to detect traces of criminals by the police force itself. The Ao Dai Festival and parade on Dinh Tien Hoang Street are also part of the event's activities.

The evening of March 9 will conclude the impressive series of activities with the Gala Music Program “Glory to the People’s Public Security of Vietnam” at the center of Dong Kinh Nghia Thuc Square.
