With the motto of constantly innovating content and methods of operation to suit the dynamism and creativity of students, in recent times, the leaders of the Youth Union of the University of Economics (University of Danang) have created many useful and meaningful playgrounds to help students grow in all aspects.
To provide students with comprehensive knowledge and social skills
In order to create an environment for students to express their abilities and talents, and develop themselves, the Youth Union of the University of Economics (University of Danang), in addition to maintaining and developing 18 affiliated clubs and teams, has recently established 4 new clubs, including: Arts and Sports Club, Volleyball Club, RIC Club (Research and Innovation Club, a place to gather students with a passion for scientific research and application, innovation), and 5 Good Students Club.

The school's clubs regularly organize a variety of activities, suitable to the needs and interests of students in many areas such as academics, social skills , volunteering, literature, art, English, etc.
Dr. Tran Xuan Quynh, Deputy Secretary of the Youth Union, President of the Student Association of the University of Economics (University of Danang), said that with the desire to train comprehensive students in both knowledge and social skills, the school aims to create a more diverse environment, suitable for the development needs of students in the new context.
"The Student Association always supports groups and individuals who wish to propose establishing new clubs. These will be truly useful playgrounds for students. The Association also works with faculties and teachers to play a professional support role to accompany them. Especially, for new clubs such as RIC and 5 Good Students, the support and assistance of teachers is very necessary," Dr. Quynh shared.

In the past time, the Student Association and the clubs and teams of the school have achieved many outstanding achievements such as: The Student Association of the school received a certificate of merit from the Executive Committee of the Vietnam Student Association of Da Nang City for its outstanding achievements in implementing the "5 Good Students" movement in the period 2018 - 2023; second prize in the 5th " National Olympic Competition on Marxist-Leninist Sciences and Ho Chi Minh Thought - Light to the Way " in 2023 at the city level; first prize in the "GBA Business Challenge 2022" competition organized by the German Business Association; first prize and third prize in the "Innovative Startup Ideas/Light Up your Creativity" competition in 2022 organized by the Da Nang City Youth Union.

As a lecturer assigned to the Department of Business Commerce, Faculty of E-Commerce, and concurrently in charge of managing the Student Association, Dr. Tran Xuan Quynh said that in addition to a long period of studying in Taiwan and France, he himself was a student at the University of Economics (University of Danang), so he understands and grasps the strengths of the school's students.
Dr. Quynh has outstanding personal achievements such as: in the period of 2022 - 2023, he had 2 articles published in prestigious international journals and 6 articles published in prestigious domestic journals, participated as a speaker at the 4th Global Vietnamese Young Intellectuals Forum, 2021 with the presentation "Digital transformation in the Vietnamese retail industry". In addition, Dr. Tran Xuan Quynh also guided 6 groups of students in scientific research , registered a ministerial-level scientific topic that is about to be accepted.
From her journey of studying and working, Dr. Quynh always wants to "pass on the fire", as well as bring enthusiasm and knowledge to students. "I always keep in mind that I am not only a teacher but also a person who "passes on the fire" to generations of students of the school. From the teaching program that is approached in a more practical and applicable way, along with that is the transmission of the desire to constantly learn, to constantly strive, to enrich not only the individual but also the homeland and the country. Or stories, examples of starting a business, overcoming difficulties to succeed, building Vietnamese brands... are often common examples in my business lectures", Dr. Quynh shared.
Recently, Dr. Quynh was recognized by the Standing Committee of the Da Nang City Youth Union as an Advanced Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings at the city level, and is an individual who meets the standards and conditions for selection as a delegate to the 7th National Congress of Outstanding Youth Following Uncle Ho's Teachings in 2023.
According to Dr. Quynh, himself a Youth Union official and also a young intellectual, when he was proposed for this title, he felt very proud because he was recognized by all levels.
"As a young lecturer, I always strive to work hard and devote myself to the best of my ability, working with the teachers in the Executive Committee of the Youth Union and the Association to develop the student movement to become stronger and stronger, creating a diverse learning and training environment according to the direction of the school's leaders, bringing the school's brand to the regional and international level," Dr. Quynh confided.
