The Vietnamese team had its final tactical training session on the afternoon of March 24 at Go Dau Stadium (Binh Duong) to prepare for the opening match against Laos in the final qualifying round of the 2027 Asian Cup taking place at 7:30 p.m. tomorrow (March 25).
It can be seen that coach Kim Sang Sik has all his best players to be able to win all 3 points against Laos.
Striker Tien Linh was in full form on the training ground and expressed his determination to score against the opponent. Not only Tien Linh, strikers Pham Tuan Hai, Bui Vi Hao, and Dinh Thanh Binh also showed great confidence to lead the Vietnamese team to victory.
Coach Kim Sang Sik said the Vietnamese team has learned from the friendly match with Cambodia (won 2-1) and is ready for the match with Laos. The Korean coach has prioritized exercises to help the Vietnamese team's strikers play better.
Scoring the opening goal in the recent friendly match against Cambodia, and also scoring the opening goal in the 4-1 victory over Laos in the 2024 ASEAN Cup, Hai Long continues to be the hope of the Vietnamese team in the rematch.
However, coach Kim Sang Sik did not care only about Hai Long. He spent time watching other attacking players on the training ground and laughed comfortably when witnessing his students' effective but also mischievous ball handling.
