Tuyen Quang: Organizing Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day to convey the message "With books, entering the era of national growth"

According to the plan, the event aims to spread messages such as "Reading culture - Connecting the community", "Entering the era of national growth with books", "Reading books - enriching knowledge, nurturing aspirations, promoting innovation and creativity". The event will take place from April 15 to May 1, 2025, with the main activity being the opening ceremony on April 18 at Tan Trao University. The opening ceremony will be attended by provincial leaders, publishing and book distribution units, and a large number of students.

The program includes many diverse activities such as book exhibitions, displays of educational technology equipment, exchanges with award-winning authors, and launching the 2025 Reading Culture Ambassador contest.

The Provincial People's Committee requested all levels, sectors and localities to organize practical and diverse events, combining tradition and modernity, applying digital technology to enhance the effectiveness of spreading reading culture. In particular, educational institutions will launch reading movements, organize book donations and giveaways to create conditions for students and people to access knowledge.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism was assigned to take the lead in organizing and coordinating with relevant units to implement the plan. At the same time, press agencies stepped up propaganda to attract the attention of the general public.
