On the afternoon of October 15, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee held a meeting with the Quang Ninh Provincial Delegation attending the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF), term 2024-2029. Comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies, chaired the meeting. Also attending was Comrade Nguyen Thi Hanh, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee.
The 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front for the 2024-2029 term will take place over 3 days, from October 16 to 18, 2024 at the National Convention Center (Hanoi). The opening session will be solemnly held on the morning of October 17; the closing session will be solemnly held on the morning of October 18. On the sidelines of the Congress, there will also be many meaningful activities, such as: Paying tribute to President Ho Chi Minh and offering incense at the Monument to Heroes and Martyrs; exhibition displaying images of the great national unity bloc and the results of the Front's work for the 2019-2024 term...
According to the allocation of the Standing Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and the results of consultation at the 12th Provincial Fatherland Front Congress, the Quang Ninh Provincial Delegation attending the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029, includes 11 delegates, representing all classes of people, ethnic groups, religions, and regions of the province.
At the Congress, the Quang Ninh Provincial Delegation will present a speech on the topic: "Promoting the role of the Front in people's foreign affairs, contributing to maintaining peace and stability, creating conditions for national development in the period of international integration". At the same time, it is agreed to assign delegates to participate and prepare the contents of the speeches for discussion at the Congress's Discussion Center No. 5.
After the Congress ends, on the evening of October 18, 2024, at the Vietnam - Japan Labor Cultural Palace, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee will organize the art program "Forever the song of solidarity" to welcome the success of the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front.
Speaking at the meeting, comrade Dang Xuan Phuong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, warmly praised the outstanding results achieved by the Vietnam Fatherland Front at all levels in the province in the past term, especially in gathering, building, promoting the strength of great national unity, implementing democracy, enhancing social consensus, mobilizing the combined strength of the entire political system and the whole society in carrying out important political tasks of the province; realizing the goal of narrowing regional disparities and the gap between rich and poor, eliminating 100% of temporary housing and newly-emerged dilapidated housing in the province; promote the role in social supervision and criticism, protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members, members, and people... At the same time, it affirmed that the success of the Congress of the Fatherland Front at all levels in Quang Ninh province has made an important contribution to the preparation process for the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, term 2024-2029.
Assigning tasks to the Quang Ninh Provincial Delegation to attend the 10th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies requested the delegates to fully participate in the activities of the Congress, strictly comply with the regulations, rules and plans during the Congress; uphold the sense of responsibility, focus their intelligence and enthusiasm to research and participate in discussions, contribute many quality opinions to build the Congress documents, especially to express the voice and aspirations of the people in the province to the Congress.
At the same time, actively exchange and share good experiences, creative ways of doing things, valuable lessons of Quang Ninh province as well as listen to the experiences of other localities in the work of solidarity, gathering people, promoting democracy, tradition, and the strength of great national solidarity. Thereby applying them in practice, contributing to building Quang Ninh province into a typical province of the whole country in all aspects, a model province of wealth, civilization, and modernity.
The Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation also requested the Provincial Fatherland Front to pay more attention to information and propaganda work before, during and after the Congress; grasp the spirit, policies, messages, and orientation of the results of the Congress to spread to all classes of people in the province...
