Launching the patriotic emulation movement in 2025

This afternoon, February 27, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province held a conference to launch the patriotic emulation movement, sign the emulation covenant for 2025, and posthumously award the title of Heroic Vietnamese Mother. Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Long Hai; Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ha Sy Dong; Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Quang Tri province Dao Manh Hung; and members of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee attended the conference.

Speaking at the direction and launching of the patriotic emulation movement in 2025, Acting Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Chairman of the Provincial Emulation and Reward Council Ha Sy Dong emphasized that 2025 is a year of special importance, the final year of implementing the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, the Resolution of the 17th Provincial Party Congress and the Socio-Economic Development Plan for the period 2021-2025.

In that spirit, the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee launched an emulation movement throughout the Party Committee, government, organizations, armed forces, and people in the province. In particular, it is highly focused on streamlining the apparatus of the political system, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, efficiency, and stable operations immediately after the reorganization in accordance with the direction of the central government and the province. The best preparation is made for the successful organization of Party Congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term and the 18th Provincial Party Congress.

Thoroughly grasp Ho Chi Minh's thought on patriotic emulation, effectively implement Directive No. 19/CT-TTg, Directive No. 39/CT-TTg of the Prime Minister on patriotic emulation movement, towards the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress and the 14th National Party Congress.

Launch emulation movements right from the beginning of the year, associated with the political tasks of each agency, unit, and locality; contribute to the comprehensive and successful implementation of the province's 2025 goals and targets and the 5-year Socio-Economic Development Plan 2021 - 2025.

By the end of 2025, GRDP will increase by 8%; GRDP per capita will reach 89.7 million VND; total budget revenue in the area will reach 59,566 billion VND; total social investment capital will reach 32,800 billion VND; the poverty rate will decrease by 1% - 1.5%; new jobs will be created for 14,000 workers.

Continue to effectively coordinate between Party agencies, government agencies, the Fatherland Front and mass organizations to promote the role of gathering and building the great national unity bloc in organizing and implementing patriotic emulation movements to carry out the province's political tasks.

Promote and improve the quality of activities of emulation blocs in the province; do a good job of discovering, fostering and replicating advanced models, examples of "good people, good deeds". Promote emulation in administrative reform, building e-government, digital economy, digital society; improve discipline, order, and public ethics; promote the responsibility of setting an example for cadres and party members, especially leaders; improve the investment and business environment, improve PCI, PAPI, PAR INDEX, SIPAS.

At the conference, Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee Dao Manh Hung, on behalf of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee - representing the great national unity bloc in the province, called for responses to patriotic emulation movements launched by the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial People's Committee. On this occasion, authorized by the President, the provincial leaders awarded the Second Class Independence Medal to 1 collective; Second Class Labor Medal, Second Class Fatherland Protection Medal to 6 individuals; Third Class Labor Medal to 19 individuals; Government Emulation Flag to 7 collectives; Certificates of Merit from the Prime Minister to 4 collectives and 39 individuals with outstanding achievements in work.

Within the framework of the program, Quang Tri province solemnly held a ceremony to posthumously award the title of Vietnamese Heroic Mother to 6 mothers whose relatives sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, building and defending the Fatherland; and awarded the Third Class Independence Medal to 1 family with many martyrs.
