On the afternoon of February 23, the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council held a regular meeting for February 2025. Comrade Trieu Dinh Le, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council chaired the meeting.

At the meeting, the representative of the Department of Finance presented the proposal to adjust the local budget estimate for 2025 according to the plan to rearrange the organizational apparatus. Accordingly, in order for the units to be established, reorganized, and have their functions and tasks transferred to implement the budget in accordance with regulations, ensuring timely and continuous service for professional activities, the Provincial People's Committee submitted to the Provincial People's Council to assign the Provincial People's Committee to adjust the budget estimate for 2025 for the professional agencies of the Provincial People's Committee according to the Resolution on establishing professional agencies under the Cao Bang Provincial People's Committee. Regarding this content, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Council proposed: In the immediate future, assign the Provincial People's Committee and professional agencies of the Provincial People's Committee to propose a plan to adjust the budget estimate, report, and ask for opinions from the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Council on the plan to adjust the local budget estimate, ensuring that the units after the arrangement and merger are allocated operating funds in a timely manner. At the same time, based on the adjusted budget, the advisory agencies continue to research and draft a report to be submitted to the upcoming Provincial People's Council meeting to consider replacing and issuing resolutions to suit reality and ensure compliance with the law.
The meeting also reviewed and commented on the preparation of the contents of the 27th Session (special session) of the 17th Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, scheduled to be held on February 24, 2025; approved the meeting's agenda, logistics and service work; approved the results of the review report of 9 draft resolutions of the Provincial People's Council Committees scheduled to be submitted to this session.
