Many memorandums of understanding on exporting Vietnamese agricultural products to the Japanese market were signed.
The event is an opportunity for Vietnamese enterprises, cooperatives and farmers to approach Japanese agricultural experts and is a stepping stone to bring the Vietnam - Japan cooperation and trade relationship to a new level. Speaking at the signing ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Do Anh Tuan - Director of the Department of International Cooperation said that Vietnam and Japan have many potentials and advantages to promote cooperation in agricultural development. In particular, Japan is a country famous for its modern agriculture, applying high technology. However, Japanese agriculture only meets over 45% of domestic consumption demand, and still has to import agricultural products every year. This is considered an advantage for Vietnam to expand the export of agricultural products to this market. Building an effective supply chain not only strengthens the connection between farmers, businesses and distributors but also helps to increase product value, meeting the needs of domestic and international markets. In the context of international integration, high quality standards such as those of Japan have become the driving force for Vietnamese agricultural products to constantly improve to meet the expectations of global consumers. Closely connecting the supply chain not only brings economic benefits but also contributes to improving the lives of farmers, building a strong brand for Vietnamese agricultural products on the world map. ![]() |
