Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh: Guiding students of Hy Vong School to study AI and semiconductor chips

On the afternoon of September 1, in Da Nang City, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh visited students and teachers at Hy Vong School. This is a boarding school for unfortunate children who lost their parents due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Also attending were Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh and representatives of ministries, branches and leaders of Da Nang City.

According to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, the Hope School was established after the Covid-19 pandemic, a pandemic that no one can forget. In that loss, the Hope School was established. This is a fine tradition of the nation.

Welcoming the idea of ​​establishing the school, the Prime Minister hoped that students of Hy Vong School would promote the heritage of national solidarity to a new height.

“When times are tough and there are losses, people unite and love each other. This is a legacy of generations after more than 4,000 years of cultural history of the country. I hope you will preserve and develop this legacy to a new level,” the Prime Minister said.

Preparing for the new school year, the Prime Minister acknowledged and praised the school for having many students passing university entrance exams, and many others continuing to learn vocational skills to improve their skills for different jobs.

According to Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, students from 43 provinces and 13 ethnic groups gathered at this school, and requested that localities also maintain contact with the school. The school guides students into emerging fields, fields that have the conditions to receive them such as software engineering, AI engineering, semiconductor chips, etc. In addition, there are additional policies to encourage students of Hy Vong School to study better, improve their comprehensive knowledge, and develop according to their talents.

“Our spirit is that people are the center, the goal, the subject and the resource for development. We must not chase development and forget about social security. Investing in students is investing in development. This investment includes policies, mechanisms, financial resources and facilities to help students have better learning conditions,” the Prime Minister emphasized.

Mr. Truong Gia Binh, Chairman of the Board of Directors of FPT Corporation, said that the presence of Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the guests was a great and valuable source of encouragement for the students of Hy Vong School in particular and students across the country in general on the occasion of the new school year; demonstrating the strong spirit and solidarity to overcome all difficulties of the nation.

According to the Chairman of FPT Board of Directors, the first goal of education is to cultivate people. At Hy Vong School, students not only learn but also develop comprehensively. They develop physically, play, develop their talents and strengths, and create meaningful products. Some of their products have been sent by FPT as special gifts to foreign partners. This helps students experience starting a start-up while still in school.

Little Gia Nghi, representing students of Hy Vong School, presented the Prime Minister with a gift of Hy Vong soap bars made by the students themselves. The symbolic images of 43 provinces and cities were skillfully drawn by students of Hy Vong School from all over the country on the soap boxes.

After 3 years, Hope School has more than 300 students from 43 provinces and cities and 13 ethnic groups across the country.
