(NLDO) - The project to build Terminal T3 of Tan Son Nhat International Airport has an investment capital of nearly 11,000 billion VND, and construction has so far reached about 95% of the volume.

On March 11, Vietnam Airports Corporation (ACV) announced that by early March 2025, the total construction volume of the T3 Passenger Terminal Project at Tan Son Nhat International Airport had reached about 95% and the progress was being controlled according to plan. The project is expected to be inaugurated on April 30, the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day.

According to the T3 Passenger Terminal Project Management Board, up to now, the architectural construction of the PTB passenger terminal has reached 100%, the architectural part is expected to be completed in March; the electrical equipment system, air conditioning and ventilation, fire protection, elevators and escalators, telescopic bridges, baggage conveyors, scanners... are all nearing completion.

The overpass system, aircraft parking area and external infrastructure are also completed. The expanded aircraft parking area is completed and is undergoing acceptance procedures for operation.

To inaugurate on April 30, a representative of the T3 Passenger Terminal Project Management Board informed that the project must be completed about 1 month in advance. This is a huge challenge.
