On the occasion of the New Year 2025 and the Lunar New Year of the Snake, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front of Thanh Hoa Province respectfully send their warmest greetings and best wishes to the Heroic Vietnamese Mothers, war invalids, sick soldiers, families of martyrs, families with meritorious services to the nation, compatriots, soldiers, cadres, Party members, religious dignitaries, the business community, sons and daughters of Thanh Hoa residing throughout the country and abroad; and people from other provinces and countries living and working in Thanh Hoa.
In 2024, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, thanks to the solidarity and efforts of the Party Committee, government, business community, and people of all ethnic groups in the province, the socio-economic situation of our province remained stable and continued to develop. The growth rate of the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) is estimated at 12.16%, ranking second nationwide; agriculture developed quite comprehensively; many key industrial products maintained stable production and increased output; goods exports increased sharply; tourism activities were vibrant, with the addition of several new products; state budget revenue is estimated at 54,341 billion VND, the highest ever. Culture and society have made progressive changes; advanced education and high-performance sports maintained their leading positions nationwide; many major political and cultural events were successfully organized, creating a strong ripple effect and positive impact on society; the people's lives were cared for and improved. National defense and security have been strengthened, and social order and safety have been ensured. The work of building and rectifying the Party and the political system has yielded positive results. With the achievements of previous years and the results in 2024, a new momentum and strength have been created for our province to confidently move into a new era – “the era of national resurgence”.
2025 is a year of special significance, the final year of the 2020-2025 term of the Party Congress at all levels and the year leading up to the 2025-2030 term. The Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Provincial Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front call upon all levels, sectors, armed forces, the business community, and the people of all ethnic groups in the province to continue to uphold the tradition of unity and revolution of their homeland; to demonstrate a high sense of responsibility, dynamism, creativity, and innovation; and to work together with determination to successfully achieve the goals and tasks of 2025 and the 2020-2025 term, building Thanh Hoa into a prosperous, beautiful, and civilized province, among the leading provinces nationwide – a new growth pole in the North of the country.
