On March 23, at Kim Bang War Invalids Nursing Center (Ha Nam), a special cultural exchange program called “Fire and Flower Songs” will officially take place. The event is organized by students of FPT University Hanoi, under the charity project “Luu Tu V”, to pay tribute to those who have devoted their youth to the Fatherland.
More than just a simple musical night, “The Fire and Flower Time” is an opportunity for the younger generation to listen, feel and honor the unforgettable memories of veterans – those who lived through the fierce bombs and bullets. Each story, each memory is a part of living history, a valuable lesson for today and tomorrow.
The program includes many elaborately staged performances, recreating the heroic atmosphere of a time of “fire and flowers”. In particular, the participation of martial arts clubs such as FPTU Vovinam Club and FMUC FPTU Muay Club will bring powerful martial arts performances, rich in national spirit and youthfulness. A special guest will also appear, bringing interesting surprises to the audience.
In addition, gifts of gratitude were given directly to the wounded and sick soldiers – as a deep thank you from the younger generation. Previously, in February, the students organized the program “Freedom Recall” to take veterans to visit the Vietnam Military History Museum, helping them relive the heroic memories of wartime.
According to Pham Le Mai Chi, Head of the Organizing Committee, the project name “Preserving V” has many meanings: “V” stands for Victory, Veterans, and Vietnam – the sacred name of the Fatherland. The project hopes to become a bridge between history and the present, between the predecessors and today’s youth.
The special feature of “Luu Thu V” is the application of digital technology: from AI-based document restoration, interactive experience design to the idea of a digital memory library and virtual reality (VR) exhibition. 100% of the organization's funding is raised through fundraising sales and community contributions.
Sharing more, Mai Chi said that the project will continue to expand the support to relatives of meritorious people, former youth volunteers... and at the same time cooperate with media and education units to spread the spirit of gratitude and profound humanity in the community.
