Less than a day after the fire at Nghiem Mountain (Yen Son, Tuyen Quang) was extinguished, another forest fire broke out at Ong Mo Mountain (Son Duong, Tuyen Quang).
At around 3:30 p.m. on March 22, people in Trung Yen commune (Son Duong district, Tuyen Quang) discovered smoke and fire billowing from Khuon Dao village.
The fire started in Thai Nguyen province and quickly spread to Trung Yen forest area (Son Duong, Tuyen Quang).

As of 11pm on March 22, more than 500 people had been mobilized to fight the fire in two directions in Trung Yen and Tan Trao communes.
Authorities have urgently deployed initial measures such as clearing firebreaks to contain the fire.
It is known that the fire site is in steep mountainous terrain about 1.5 hours walking distance from residential areas.
The weather is dry and windy so the fire is unpredictable.
