In the CrossFire category, Vietnam defeated the Indonesian team with a 3-0 difference, bringing home the gold medal for Vietnam eSport and successfully defending the gold medal at the 31st SEA Games. This result of Vietnam eSport affirmed the position of the CrossFire team as number 1 in Southeast Asia and top 3 in the world.
The Vietnamese eSports team also reached the finals of League of Legends: Wild Rift. In the finals, Vietnam faced the Philippines and lost 1-3. This defeat prevented the Vietnamese eSports team from defending their gold medal from the previous tournament.

In addition to the two events mentioned above, the Vietnamese eSports team will compete for the bronze medal in VALORANT after losing to Singapore in the semi-finals. Before the tournament, the Entertainment Electronic Sports Association (VIRESA) only set the target of finishing in the top 3 and defending the gold medal in Crossfire, Wild Rift and PUBG Mobile (individual). With the defeat in Wild Rift, the Vietnamese eSports team will only have the goal of defending the gold medal in PUBG Mobile (individual) and aiming for new gold medals in the remaining events.
At SEA Games 32, the Vietnamese eSport team will compete in 2 more events with 4 categories: Mobile Legend: Bang bang (men's and women's teams), PUBG Mobile (individual and team).
