Hue City: Displaying more than 400 artifacts on the theme "95 years under the glorious Party flag"

The event is part of the activities of the government and people of Hue city on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Hue Liberation Day (March 26, 1975 - March 26, 2025) and the 95th anniversary of the establishment of the Hue City Party Committee (April 1930 - April 2025).

More than 400 valuable documents and artifacts at the special exhibition “95 years under the glorious Party flag” have affirmed that Hue is not only a heritage city, but also a dynamic, creative and potential urban area. This is a valuable opportunity for people and tourists to understand more deeply about the history and future of the ancient capital, where the past and present intersect to move towards a new era of development.

One of the special highlights is the area recreating the birth of the Thua Thien Hue Party Committee - now Hue City (April 1930), a milestone that opened the strong revolutionary movement of the people of Hue. The glorious feats of arms in the August Revolution of 1945, the two resistance wars against France and the US, especially the 26 days and nights of resilience in the Mau Than Spring of 1968 and the Hue liberation campaign in March 1975, are all vividly recreated through films, documentary images and historical artifacts.

If the historical exhibition area takes visitors back to the glorious past, the area "50-year mark - Hue reaching out to a new era of development" opens up a renewed and modern Hue, with many steady steps forward in all fields.

The exhibition content shows that, on the path of innovation, integration and development, with its cultural and historical traditions, along with its position and role as a growth pole of the Central Key Economic Zone; a key point in national defense and security, Hue city has been effectively promoting its potential and advantages to integrate and develop, making worthy contributions to the cause of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.

The exhibition space also has a dedicated area displaying images and models of projects to preserve and promote the value of Hue's cultural heritage, helping people and visitors better understand the efforts to preserve the traditional beauty that the city is making.

In addition, typical products of Hue city such as Kim Long motor brand; export items; handicraft products and OCOP products are also introduced to the public.

The exhibition will run until March 27, 2025.
