During the afternoon session, the market was mostly red, with the VN-Index only showing a glimmer of green at 1:45 p.m. At the close of the session, the VN-Index stopped at 1,327.99 points, down 3.93 points (-0.3%); the VN30-Index was at 1,384.89 points after falling 3.9 points (-0.28%).

TCB shares and some other codes such as GAS, HPG are currently in green, contributing the most to the VN-Index, but could not help the market avoid a down session. FPT was the code that took away the most points with more than 1.2 points.
Most industry groups decreased, of which, healthcare, financial services, hardware, software, specialized services and trade decreased by 1.23-3.55%.
Energy, materials, biopharmaceuticals, insurance, media and entertainment, utilities, and durable goods distribution and retailing bucked the market, but no sector rose more than 1%.
