That was the sharing of Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, Politburo member, Secretary of Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee at the "National Great Unity Day" in inter-ward 10, 11 of An Phu Dong ward, District 12 held on November 17.

According to Mr. Nguyen Van Nen, the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City are determined to put all their efforts into implementing the Central Government's directives and making efforts to achieve the set targets and tasks. The city is also actively preparing plans to accelerate with the whole country to enter a new era, the era of national development.
Speaking at the program, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen expressed his joy at attending the National Great Unity Day of Ward 10 and Ward 11, An Phu Dong Ward, District 12, a land rich in tradition, containing many achievements through the country's historical revolutionary struggles.
He also highly appreciated and commended the efforts and results of the two neighborhoods in recent times, especially the initiatives and good practices in implementing movements and campaigns from the city to the locality. In particular, he highly appreciated and commended the initiative to build a "blooming" canal on Sau Suu canal and Vo Dong Nhi canal with 200 flower pots planted along the route.
These results have contributed to helping the two neighborhoods ensure economic, cultural and social stability, promote the spirit of mutual support, "neighborly love" and leave no one behind, build clean alleys and canals... "This achievement belongs to our people, to the grassroots political system, including the role of the Front of the two neighborhoods" - Comrade Nguyen Van Nen emphasized. He believes that in the coming time, the two neighborhoods will promote the achieved results to build an increasingly better life for the people of the neighborhood.
Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen shared that the Party Committee, government and people of Ho Chi Minh City have been determined and focused on implementing the Central's directives and making efforts to fulfill the targets and tasks set by the City for 2024. From there, it will lay the foundation to prepare to complete the tasks in 2025, completing the tasks and goals of the entire 5-year journey (2020-2025).
Emphasizing the results of implementing traffic infrastructure development, administrative reform... in the city in recent times, Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen also frankly acknowledged that there are still many aspects that need to be continued; need to be carefully and closely assessed; at the same time, handle the backlog from the past and prepare the next plan to have the luggage to accelerate like the Central Committee, General Secretary To Lam, a high-ranking leader of the Central Committee also emphasized that we are preparing the luggage to enter a new era, the era of national growth.
Agreeing with the directions and tasks set out by the two neighborhoods, the Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee requested that Party committees, authorities, socio-political organizations, and neighborhood fronts continue to promote the achieved results and strive to improve the unachieved points.
In particular, focusing on building Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space; mobilizing people to actively participate in movements and campaigns; implementing projects towards the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification. He hopes that Ward 10 and Ward 11 of An Phu Dong Ward will select meaningful projects, contributing to making the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification truly meaningful.
He emphasized that previous generations had sacrificed a lot to gain independence and peace. The potential, position and prestige that Vietnam has today had to be paid for with great bloodshed, so we must know how to preserve it; at the same time, we must contribute our efforts to embellish it, to be more worthy of its stature in the new era.
Ward 10 and Ward 11, An Phu Dong Ward, District 12 were established on the basis of arranging residential groups in the old Ward 1. The 2 Wards have a total of 1,211 households with 3,706 people.
On this occasion, leaders of the Central Government, Ho Chi Minh City and local leaders at all levels presented gifts to disadvantaged households and some outstanding individuals in the two neighborhoods.
