"What is particularly important in this forum is the factor that shapes the future. We need to understand the impact of the geopolitical context on the ASEAN region as well as each member country. Anything that happens outside will have a strong impact on ASEAN. As I observed, these issues were discussed enthusiastically at the forum," the Malaysian Prime Minister commented.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also strongly supports and cooperates with Malaysia to ensure the success of Malaysia's 2025 ASEAN Chairmanship agenda.

"Once again, it must be affirmed that Vietnam always plays a central role. I think that AFF provides an important channel for us to discuss these issues effectively. Regarding the Malaysia-Vietnam Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim shared that the two countries trust each other and cooperate in all fields.

"Vietnam has shown its ability to recover quickly in all aspects after difficulties such as natural disasters and epidemics; continuously improve its capacity and even record an impressive growth rate of 7% annually. This is impressive, especially during the period of instability and stagnation that is happening in many continents," the Malaysian Prime Minister expressed.

He said that in the discussions with Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh, many specific contents were discussed, such as the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation on renewable energy between the Vietnam National Energy Corporation and the Malaysian National Oil and Gas Group, the ASEAN power grid, promoting the Halal food industry, artificial intelligence, semiconductor agreements, education and training, military, defense, cyber security, etc.

The Prime Minister was also impressed with "Vietnam's aspiration to rise up in the new era". He said that General Secretary To Lam mentioned Vietnam's new direction, a humane path, not only focusing on economic development. Vietnam focuses on comprehensiveness, fairness and care for disadvantaged groups in society.

In a context where many places have placed moral values in secondary positions, causing issues of justice, equality and care for the poor and disadvantaged to be overlooked, Vietnam is shaping a new development model, in which comprehensiveness and humanity are core elements.

President of Timor-Leste Jose Ramos-Horta.

Timor-Leste President Jose Ramos-Horta said that Vietnam has successfully organized the AFF in a professional and effective manner, and in the future this will become an important forum, attracting the participation of many countries.

Expressing his impression of Vietnam's outstanding achievements in all fields, the President of Timor-Leste commented that this not only comes from current policies but also stems from Vietnam's history - a great nation, resilient in overcoming unimaginable challenges.

Vietnam has also achieved impressive economic growth. In many countries, high growth rates do not mean equitable distribution, sometimes only enriching a few. However, in Vietnam, economic development also includes disadvantaged groups, helping society achieve greater equality.

The President said: "Vietnam is not only a rapidly growing economy but also a leader in digitalization, artificial intelligence and global connectivity. Right in our country - Timor-Leste, Viettel through its subsidiary Telemor has become the number one network operator, surpassing two to three other competitors.

This brand is very famous and loved. Hopefully in the future, we will continue to expand and strengthen economic and trade cooperation with Vietnam, bringing benefits to both countries."

Areas in which Timor-Leste can upgrade and expand cooperation with Vietnam include telecommunications and connectivity. President Jose Ramos-Horta wants deeper cooperation between the two countries in agriculture, food security, water resources, pharmaceuticals and health...

Timor-Leste is striving to join ASEAN, President Jose Ramos Horta said that Vietnam's support is important. Because Vietnam has a profound influence in ASEAN and also in the international arena. Being supported by Vietnam and other countries helps Timor-Leste enter ASEAN with greater confidence.
