A passenger on the train said that at around 2:30 p.m., he saw the train stop suddenly. Looking outside, he saw a train car derailed, tilted to the right at a 45-degree angle. Many train staff were transporting passengers' belongings, luggage, items, and goods outside.

According to the leader of Vietnam Railway Corporation, railway management units are currently focusing all resources to handle the incident.

“Although the incident did not injure any passengers, because the train accident was near Hai Van Pass, it will take time to bring rescue machinery and equipment to the scene,” said the leader.

It is expected that the rescue will be completed and the route will be reopened today.
