Da Nang reveals progress of 44,000 billion VND super project at the foot of Hai Van pass

(Dan Tri) - There are still 169 land clearance dossiers at the Lang Van Tourism and Urban Resort Complex project (Da Nang) that have not been resolved. According to the commitment, the locality will hand over the clean land for the project in early April.

Recently, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment of Da Nang city updated information on the progress of the Lang Van Tourism and Urban Resort Complex project.

According to statistics, phase 2 of this project has 679 files requiring site clearance, including 38 files of residential land and 641 files of agricultural land and other land.

The Department of Natural Resources and Environment said that relevant organizations, households and individuals have agreed with the policy of land acquisition to implement the project.

As of February 20, the Land Clearance Council has processed 510/679 applications, reaching 75.1%, with 169 applications remaining (24.9%). The People's Committee of Lien Chieu District committed to completing the land clearance by early April to ensure the project's progress.

Previously, the People's Committee of Lien Chieu district announced that households subject to land clearance should contact the District Land Clearance Board to organize an inventory and carry out related procedures.

The Lang Van Tourism and Urban Resort Complex Project, approved by the Prime Minister for investment policy adjustment on November 20, 2024, has a total investment capital of nearly VND 44,000 billion.

The project has a duration of 50 years from the date of land handover to the investor, with implementation progress within 5 years from the date of approval of investment policy adjustment. Phase 1 completes investment preparation procedures from year 1 to year 2; Phase 2 implements investment, acceptance and puts into use from year 2 to the end of year 5 (2027-2029).

The People's Committee of Da Nang City has approved the land use boundary diagram and adjusted the detailed planning at a scale of 1/500. The area of ​​the research land has been reduced from more than 1,067 hectares to more than 512 hectares, including 63.3 hectares of natural forest land, 6.4 hectares of natural sandbanks, 6.6 hectares of land overlapping with Lien Chieu port, 2.7 hectares of land for archaeological exploration and excavation, and nearly 477 hectares of sea surface.

The project has a population of about 19,000 people, is a complex including commercial service facilities, eco-tourism development combined with low-density accommodation associated with nature conservation.
