FPT Corporation and Vingroup sign cooperation agreement to promote green transformation

In order to join hands to contribute to the Net Zero goal and pioneer in forming a green transformation alliance among leading enterprises, Vingroup Corporation and FPT Corporation have signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement on promoting green transformation in Vietnam.

The agreement not only opens up opportunities for member companies of both sides to successfully build prestigious, world-class Vietnamese brands together, but also demonstrates the awareness and social responsibility of the two corporations, aiming for sustainable and long-term development goals.

According to the cooperation agreement, Vingroup, FPT and their member companies are expected to jointly develop potential new projects, bringing great benefits and values ​​to society in a green and sustainable manner. Specifically, Vingroup will support and consider prioritizing FPT's technology products and services that are suitable for the needs of the corporation and its member companies, while supporting FPT in expanding its customer base to employees of Vingroup's member companies. Smart electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast - a member of Vingroup - will consider prioritizing the use of FPT's automotive software technology services and IT equipment and infrastructure provision services.

FPT also supports Vingroup's Green Transformation strategy and program, especially VinFast. FPT will coordinate communication and promotion of VinFast electric vehicles and other green products of Vingroup to FPT employees and member companies; organize test drive programs so that more and more people understand the advantages of electric vehicles compared to gasoline vehicles, thereby making practical contributions to the green transformation.

FPT is currently focusing on developing the automotive technology sector with a team of 4,000 experts and many partners and customers who are prestigious global brands. In 2023, FPT established FPT Automotive, headquartered in Texas, USA, to conquer the hundreds of billions of USD global automotive software market. Meanwhile, VinFast, the smart electric car brand of Vingroup Corporation, is also expanding strongly in all continents, with two factories under construction in the US and India, and a wide business network in North America, Europe, Asia and Africa. VinFast's world-leading modern factory in Vietnam is producing electric cars, electric motorbikes, electric bicycles, and electric buses for the global market.

As pioneering enterprises in building prestigious national brands in the high-tech industry sector globally, the comprehensive cooperation agreement between Vingroup and FPT not only opens up opportunities for both sides but also affirms the sense of responsibility and strong commitment of the two corporations to the common goals of the country.
