Create production and business momentum right from the beginning of the year

Right after the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin, at Lien Ha Thai Industrial Park, Thai Binh province held the Launching Ceremony of "Enterprises competing to promote production and business in 2024".

Speaking at the ceremony, Chairman of Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Khac Than informed about the province's outstanding socio-economic achievements in the past year such as: Thai Binh province's economy maintained its development with a growth rate of 7.37%, economic structure, labor structure shifted in a positive direction, for the first time the structure of agriculture, forestry and fishery decreased below 20%; Disbursement of public investment capital continued to be among the top in the country; Attracting foreign investment FDI achieved impressive results and was the first year attracting FDI reaching 3 billion USD, ranking 5th nationwide in terms of foreign investment capital.

For the second consecutive year, Thai Binh has had over 1,000 newly established enterprises. The urban and rural landscape has seen many changes; the construction of advanced new rural areas and model new rural areas continues to be implemented to ensure substance and effectiveness.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, the total number of gifts for people with revolutionary contributions and their relatives, poor households, households in difficult circumstances, workers, laborers, social protection beneficiaries, and children in special circumstances is 442,687, with a cost of 198.8 billion VND (an increase of nearly 59,000 gifts compared to the Lunar New Year of Quy Mao 2023). Salaries and Tet bonuses for workers are guaranteed.

Contributing to the province's outstanding achievements, the Chairman of the Thai Binh Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the efforts of the business community and entrepreneurs in the province. At the same time, the business community and entrepreneurs have actively participated in implementing social security policies. In particular, on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2024, the business community and entrepreneurs presented 36,382 gifts, with a total cost of more than 17 billion VND to poor households and households in difficult circumstances.

Entering 2024, the leaders of Thai Binh province requested the business community to continue to promote the experiences, creativity and results achieved in 2023; uphold the spirit of self-reliance, self-strengthening, overcoming difficulties, achieving the highest results in each production and business activity target; linking emulation movements with good implementation of legal regulations in business operations; paying attention to all material and spiritual care for workers and laborers working at enterprises and production and business establishments.

Strengthen research, grasp the development trends of domestic and international markets to proactively integrate; promote investment in technological innovation, modern equipment, and rationalize production processes. Each enterprise and each entrepreneur is a connecting point, attracting investors and partners to invest in production and business in the province, especially attracting investment in Thai Binh Economic Zone to promote the potential and strengths of the province to develop industrial parks, urban areas, and services; build the coastal area into a key economic development area of the province.
