Conference to review the work of the first 6 months of the year and deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2023 of the agency and the Party Committee of the Central Propaganda Department.
Reporting at the Conference, Comrade Phan Xuan Thuy - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department emphasized: In the first 6 months of the year, the Central Propaganda Department has deployed and completed a large amount of work with many new and outstanding points. The leaders of the Central Propaganda Department have led and directed the development of 26 projects, reviewed and summarized resolutions, directives and conclusions of the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat and a number of major scientific topics.
In particular, directly advising the Politburo and the Secretariat to issue 5 new documents. These are documents with broad content, promptly removing difficulties, obstacles, and bottlenecks to improve the quality and effectiveness of propaganda work in the new situation; promptly directing and orienting propaganda, press - publishing, and foreign information; grasping the ideological situation, public opinion, fighting and refuting bad and toxic information about major events...
In addition to performing the functions and tasks of advising and assisting the Politburo and the Secretariat, the leaders of the Committee also strengthen the direction and orientation of the work of protecting the ideological foundation; innovate and improve the quality and effectiveness of propaganda and education on Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought; actively fight and refute false and distorted arguments of hostile and reactionary forces... Science, culture and arts work has many innovations, focusing on closely following the reality of social life, implementing synchronously and comprehensively all aspects and fields of work.

In his concluding remarks at the Conference, Comrade Lai Xuan Mon, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department, Secretary of the Agency's Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the achievements of the Board and the Party Committee in the first 6 months of the year. He emphasized: The entire Board has tried and made efforts to deploy and complete a large amount of work assigned by the Politburo and the Secretariat, work according to regular functions and tasks and unexpected and arising tasks.
