Temporarily suspend operation of Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway line on the morning of November 9

According to Hanoi Metro One Member Limited Liability Company, the elevated section of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway line will temporarily stop operating on the morning of November 9.

The suspension is to serve the organization of the commercial operation ceremony and the installation of the inauguration sign to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).

The elevated section of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway line will temporarily stop operating trains from 5:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on November 9. After that, trains will operate normally. Hanoi Metro has announced on the loudspeaker system on the train and at stations along the line to keep passengers informed.

Previously, the elevated section of the Nhon - Hanoi Railway Station urban railway, 8.5km long from station S1 (Nhon) to station S8 (Cau Giay), officially entered commercial operation to serve passengers since August 8, 2024. With a maximum design speed of 80km/h, according to calculations, the route can transport a maximum of more than 500,000 passengers/day and night.

During the first 3 months of operation, the route opens at 5:30 a.m. and closes at 10 p.m. every day; trains run every 10 minutes. In the following period, depending on passenger demand, the operator will make appropriate adjustments to best meet the travel needs of passengers on the route.
