On the morning of March 29, at Hoan Kiem Lake walking street, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union directed and the Vietnam Women's Newspaper organized an event in which more than 1,000 women wearing Ao Dai paraded and formed a map of Vietnam.

This is also an event in response to Ao Dai Week launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union nationwide. Initiated in 2019, Ao Dai Week contributes to inspiring and spreading meaningful, positive messages about love, national pride; about the country, people and Vietnamese Ao Dai.
Attending the Ao Dai parade on the morning of March 29 were more than 1,000 women, including leaders and officials of the Vietnam Women's Union, Hanoi Women's Union members, guests, and students of the Vietnam Women's Academy.

"The activity of hundreds of young women in traditional Vietnamese dress and national flag forming a map of Vietnam is not only a symbol of solidarity but also an affirmation of the important role of women's forces in preserving and developing the country," Lan Ngoc (20 years old) shared with VietNamNet reporter.
With this activity, Vietnamese women are increasingly proud of the national ao dai, affirming their role and position in the social community, firmly entering a new era, the era of national growth.
