Previously, a relative of a male student named A., class 6/2, Le Quy Don Secondary School, Duy Tan Commune, Duy Xuyen District, Quang Nam, posted a status on Facebook with the content: "Does everyone think it's okay for the homeroom teacher to beat students like that?"

Along with that, there are many pictures of this male student's legs with many bruises.

According to the male student's relatives, he was beaten by his homeroom teacher with a ruler after physical education class 2 days ago.

According to relatives, the male student had previously broken a stick and hit a classmate, causing a mark on his back.

Mr. Le Van Tam - principal of Le Quy Don Secondary School - said that the incident of the teacher using a ruler to hit a student's leg several times happened in the afternoon of November 11. The school has asked the teacher to write a report; the police are working and discussing.

"I also just updated information from the parents this afternoon and apologized to the family for the unexpected incident. The school has temporarily suspended the teacher. She is also confused now, I will invite her up tomorrow morning so she can calmly talk about the incident," said Mr. Tam.

The school leaders also informed that they had worked with the family and asked the teacher to take the student to the hospital to check his health condition.

The incident was also reported by the school to the Department of Education and Training of Duy Xuyen district.

Responding to Tuoi Tre Online , the Department of Education and Training of Duy Xuyen district said that this morning it had directed the school to ask the teacher to give a specific explanation.
