The meeting reviewed the glorious tradition of the Party's Propaganda sector over the past 94 years. For Nam Giang district, at the 3rd District Party Congress (October 1964), the District Party Committee decided to establish specialized committees for Party building work under the District Party Committee, including the District Party Committee's Propaganda Training Committee. The specialized organizational apparatus for propaganda work of the District Party Committee includes the following departments: propaganda, training, headed by a member of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee.
Throughout the 40 years of establishment and the 75 years of establishment of the District Party Committee, propaganda work has always closely followed political tasks. Generations who have worked in the Propaganda Department of the Nam Giang District Party Committee have made positive contributions, contributing an important part to the glorious victory of the District Party Committee. Propaganda through the periods has tried and made efforts to fulfill the role of "guarding the ideological gate" which is truly "going ahead to lead the way, going together to implement, going behind to check and summarize".
At the meeting, Nam Giang District Party Committee launched and republished 500 volumes of the book "Historical events of Giang district 1885 - 1975". The book consists of 467 pages with 3 parts: Giang - From the beginning of the resistance against the French to the August 1945 general uprising; Chau Ben Giang was established, the district Party Committee was born and directly led the resistance war against the French colonialists in the locality (1945 - 1954); Giang - 21 years of bravery and steadfastness in fighting the Americans to save the country (1954 - 1975).
This is a project to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Nam Giang District Party Committee (June 28, 1949 - June 28, 2024).
