According to the plan, Nam Giang district will strengthen training, education, and specialized guidance in the management field to improve product quality (food safety, quality declaration, batch records, traceability, packaging, labels, etc.). Strengthen specialized or interdisciplinary quality management and supervision activities. Promote the application of science and technology to improve and perfect products.
By 2025, the district strives for 100% of new participants in the OCOP Program to be trained in the basic contents of the program, especially the specific contents of the steps in the OCOP cycle.
Support the development/upgrading of recognized products; strive to have at least 12 products registered to participate in the OCOP Program with a rating of 3 stars or higher (on average, each commune-level unit registers at least 1 product). All registered participants commit to producing products according to food safety regulations; packaging, labels, and packaging are upgraded to ensure regulations; an advanced quality management system is applied in the production, circulation, and traceability of products.
It is known that Nam Giang district currently has 7 products recognized as meeting 3-star OCOP standards.
