The leaders of Vung Tau Hospital said that as of 10 p.m. on November 27, 170 cases had been admitted to the hospital for emergency treatment for food poisoning. Of the 170 cases, 117 people are still being treated as inpatients and are being monitored, including 10 cases being monitored for emergency treatment.
In addition, according to the report of Vung Tau City Health Department, there were 35 cases of food poisoning treated at Vietsovpetro Joint Venture Medical Center.
Thus, at both medical facilities, the number of people suspected of food poisoning is up to more than 200 people.
All cases had symptoms of abdominal pain, vomiting, diarrhea, and all ate bread from a shop named CB on Nguyen An Ninh Street, Ward 7, Vung Tau City.

After recording the poisoning incident on the morning of November 27, Vung Tau City authorities inspected the CB bread store. At the time of inspection, the store had not yet presented the necessary documents or documents proving the origin of the input foods.
Vung Tau City Police and relevant agencies also inspected the origin of four bread production facilities and two pork and ham production facilities that supplied raw materials to CB bakery.
Vung Tau City authorities have requested the bakery owner to temporarily suspend business until a conclusion is reached, and continue to trace the origin of the bakery's input food.
