Summary of the campaign on management and exploitation of weapons and technical equipment

This morning, June 24, the Quang Tri Provincial Military Command held a preliminary review of the Campaign "Management and exploitation of good, durable, safe, economical and traffic-safe technical weapons and equipment" for the period 2020 - 2024, and deployed directions and tasks for the period 2025 - 2029.

Over the past 5 years, under the leadership and direction of the Standing Party Committee, the Military Region 4 Command, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee, the attention and support of the functional agencies of Military Region 4 and the regular coordination with agencies, departments, branches, and localities, the Provincial Party Committee and Military Command have led and directed the implementation of the Campaign "Management and exploitation of good, durable, safe, economical and traffic-safe technical weapons and equipment" with many comprehensive results.

Notably, the steering committee for implementing the campaign at all levels has always been strengthened, linking the campaign with the emulation movement to win of the provincial armed forces, paying attention to building, consolidating and upgrading the system of warehouses and technical equipment according to the criteria of regular construction, ensuring good management and preservation as well as promoting the application and exploitation of information technology software in technical management.

Agencies and units have focused on industry development, technical training to improve the capacity and qualifications of staff and employees; regularly innovate content, competitions, sports, improve management quality, exploit good and durable technical equipment, ensure safety, economy and strictly maintain the technical work regime and regulations. Ensure good conditions for units to carry out training tasks, combat readiness, exercises and other unexpected tasks.

At the conference, delegates discussed and assessed the limitations and shortcomings, pointed out the causes and proposed solutions to overcome them, agreed on the direction and tasks for the coming time with specific goals and measures to ensure weapons and technical equipment for regular and unexpected tasks of the provincial armed forces.

At the conference, the Provincial Military Command launched an emulation movement to implement the Campaign "Management and exploitation of good, durable, safe, economical and traffic-safe technical weapons and equipment" for the period 2025 - 2029.
