According to the report of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the list of projects requiring land recovery and land use conversion expected to be submitted to the Provincial People's Council for approval is 42 projects.

Specifically, there are 19 projects requiring land acquisition with a total area of ​​141.63 hectares. Of which, Quang Tri town has 1 project with an area of ​​13.44 hectares; Trieu Phong district has 2 projects with an area of ​​0.21 hectares; Hai Lang district has 1 project with an area of ​​27.9 hectares; Cam Lo district has 6 projects with an area of ​​6.57 hectares; Dakrong district has 5 projects with an area of ​​64.95 hectares; Huong Hoa district has 4 projects with an area of ​​28.56 hectares.

There are 23 projects converting rice-growing land, protective forest land, and production forest land to other purposes with a total area of ​​256.22 hectares, including: rice-growing land 2.33 hectares, protective forest land 14.92 hectares, and production forest land 238.97 hectares.

Of which, Dong Ha city has 1 project, area 23.75 ha; Quang Tri town has 1 project, area 13.44 ha; Trieu Phong district has 1 project, area 0.07 ha; Hai Lang district has 2 projects, area 52.9 ha; Cam Lo district has 4 projects, area 5.12 ha; Dakrong district has 10 projects, area 130.93 ha; Huong Hoa district has 4 projects, area 30.01 ha.

The number of projects proposed for the Provincial People's Council to decide on the policy of changing the purpose of forest use to other purposes is 8 projects with a total area of ​​forest changed to use purpose of nearly 181.2 hectares. Of which, protection forest is nearly 12.2 hectares, production forest is nearly 159.2 hectares and planted forest outside the planning of 3 types of forest has been granted certificates of land use rights for production forest is more than 9.7 hectares.

Concluding the working session, Head of the Economic and Financial Committee of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Dang Anh requested the Department of Agriculture and Environment to absorb the opinions of the delegates, continue to review and supplement the contents of the dossiers of each land recovery project, projects using rice-growing land, production forest land, and protective forest land for other purposes; projects submitting the policy to change the purpose of forest use to other purposes to implement the project.

Closely coordinate with the Provincial People's Council's Economic and Financial Committee to complete the appraisal report to be submitted at the 30th session of the Provincial People's Council.
