From the support of local businesses, many gifts were given to officers and soldiers on duty at control stations, border posts, and militia posts, to encourage them to continue to successfully complete their tasks of managing and protecting border security.
Youth Union members of Chau Doc City visited and gave gifts to 44 households in Group 10, Vinh Chanh 3 Hamlet. Each gift included food, the national flag and a picture of Uncle Ho.
Ms. Vo Thi Cam Thu makes a living by working as a hired hand, and her family's finances are still very tight. This is the first time she has received the national flag and a picture of Uncle Ho, so she is very touched and happy.
Immediately after receiving the gift, people quickly hung Uncle Ho's picture in the most solemn place in their house, replacing the old faded picture.
Young people also enthusiastically hung the national flag for households, propagating for everyone to respond to the series of events celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), proudly living in a peaceful, independent and developed environment.
