The Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology transfers the Party organization of the press and publishing sector.

On the afternoon of March 28, 2025, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Science and Technology, the Party Committee The Ministry of Science and Technology has transferred party organizations and party members of the press and publishing sector to the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Comrade Tran Thi Nhi Thuy - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology, conducted procedures to hand over Party organizations to Comrade Nguyen Tuan Linh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

Attending the ceremony, comrade Tran Thi Nhi Thuy - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology, conducted the procedures for handing over the Party organizations to comrade Nguyen Tuan Linh - Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism. The ceremony took place solemnly, and at the same time discussed the orientation, cohesion, and ensuring continuity so that the Party Committees and Party organizations of the press and publishing sector can participate and actively contribute to the political tasks and Party building work when moving to the new Party Committee.

The transfer is carried out in accordance with Decision No. 12-QD/DU dated February 12, 2025 of the Government Party Committee on the establishment of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and Decision No. 32-QD/DU dated February 19, 2025 of the Government Party Executive Committee on the establishment of the Party Committee of the Ministry of Science and Technology. Accordingly, 5 Party organizations of the press and publishing sector are transferred, including: i) Party Committee of the Department of Grassroots Information and External Information (merging the Party Cell of the Department of Grassroots Information and the Party Cell of the Department of External Information) ; ii) Party Cell of the Department of Press ; iii) Party Cell of the Department of Publishing, Printing and Distribution ; iv) Party Cell of the Department of Radio, Television and Electronic Information.

Overview of the ceremony.

Previously, the Party Committees of the two Ministries coordinated to complete preparations such as reviewing the list, party member records, and handover minutes according to regulations; advising on the organization of the ceremony to sign the transfer minutes, receiving the party organization and party members. The ceremony took place in the presence of representatives of the two Party Committees, the Party Committees' Organization Committee, the Party Committee Office, and representatives of the transferred party organizations.

The transfer of Party organizations between the two Ministries aims to ensure unity, compliance with Party regulations, enhance leadership effectiveness and orientation for the development of Party organizations in the fields of journalism and publishing. This event also marks a new step in the process of arrangement and streamlining according to Resolution 18-NQ/TW, strengthening management and adjusting the organization of units according to the orientation of the Party and State for stronger development in the new era .
